Dorna 3 compared to Dorna 2, uses high precision absolute encoders which are placed on its joints, and therefore the robot does not require any homing or encoder battery. Furthermore, all electronic components are covered on the robot which helps with the reliability of the robot in industrial applications.
Dorna 3 comes with stronger motors and heavier-duty mechanical build, which adds to the robot’s maximum payload and speed compared to Dorna 2. Dorna 3 uses a single cable connecting it to the controller, which makes the robot more portable and easier to set up compared to Dorna 2.
