Integrates gentle, continuous plate and vessel mixing directly into your Dorna workflow. Built around the IKA MS 3 control, which mounts on the fixture plate as a dedicated station, the robot picks each plate or tube rack, places it on the shaker, and retrieves it when the cycle is complete — all without interruption.


Automated Shaking in the Workflow
The robot places the plate or vessel onto the shaker and releases it. Dorna Workspace triggers the shaking cycle at the configured speed and duration, then signals the robot to retrieve the sample when complete. Shaking steps integrate seamlessly with pipetting, incubation, inspection, and any other module in the system — no manual operation, no separate timers, no interruptions.

Plates, Tubes & Small Vessels
The IKA MS 3 control handles microplates, deep well plates, PCR plates, and small tubes with interchangeable attachments. The compact footprint fits cleanly on the fixture plate without consuming valuable workspace. Speed is adjustable from 100 to 3,000 rpm — covering gentle agitation for cell cultures and ELISA plates through to more vigorous mixing for resuspension and reagent preparation.
