Pick, Print, Apply, Return
The robot picks each tube from a rack or plate, presents it to the CAB AXON 1.2 labeler at the correct orientation and height, and returns it after the label is applied — all within a single workflow cycle. The label print and application step itself completes in under two seconds. Label position on the tube is precisely controlled, with height adjustment configured per tube type. When multiple tube formats are in use, the tool changer swaps grippers automatically to ensure the right grip geometry for each format — no manual intervention required.

Sharp on Every Label
The AXON 1.2 prints at 300 or 600 dpi resolution using direct thermal or thermal transfer technology — producing sharp, high-contrast barcodes and text on even the smallest labels. Both 1D and 2D codes are supported. When combined with the Visual Inspection Module, applied labels can be verified on the tube — confirming correct placement, orientation, and barcode readability as part of the workflow.

Every Tube Your Lab Uses
The AXON 1.2 handles tubes and vials from 7mm to 26mm in diameter and 20mm to 130mm in length — covering microtubes, standard tubes, blood collection tubes, cryogenic vials, and more. Labels up to 56mm wide are supported. For formats outside the standard range, extended configuration options are available up to 38mm diameter. When multiple tube formats are part of the same workflow, the tool changer selects the right gripper for each format automatically.

From Spreadsheet to Label
Label content is driven by your existing data infrastructure — no custom software required. The module accepts print data directly from Excel files for simple workflows, or connects to your lab's LIMS for fully automated sample tracking. Every label printed is tied to sample data, supporting end-to-end traceability and regulatory requirements.
