Visual
Inspection
Module.
AI-powered vision for every step of your workflow. Fixed camera stations on the fixture plate, camera on the robot arm, or both — inspecting, reading, measuring, and tracking automatically. All processing runs locally on the edge. Fast, secure, and ready for regulatory data requirements.

Six Ways to See
Inspect
Fill level, color, clarity, consistency
Detect
Caps, tubes, anomalies, empty positions
Read Barcodes
1D, 2D, any orientation on the tube
Read Labels
Rotates tube to find and read any label
OCR
Reads balances, pH meters, any display
Edge AI
Local processing — no cloud, no latency

Flexible Inspection From Any Angle
Fixed camera stations mount directly on the fixture plate. The robot presents tubes, vials, plates, or other items to the camera from any orientation — side, top, or bottom. Multiple camera stations can be included in a single system for different inspection tasks at different workflow steps. For scenarios where a fixed station isn't required, the same camera and AI engine operates from the robot arm directly.
- Fixed stations on the fixture plate
- Any orientation — side, top, or bottom
- Also operates from the robot arm directly

Sample Inspection & Anomaly Detection
Detects anomalies in sample appearance, fill level, color, clarity, or consistency — automatically, on every sample, not just spot checks. Can be used after vortexing, mixing, or other processing steps to verify the sample state before the workflow continues. Configurable detection criteria allow the system to flag, sort, or route samples based on inspection results.
- Every sample inspected — not just spot checks
- Configurable detection and routing criteria
- Verifies sample state between processing steps

Cap, Label & Presence Detection
Verifies the presence or absence of caps, tubes, vials, and other items at any point in the workflow. Detects missing caps, empty rack positions, incorrectly seated tubes, and other common errors before they propagate. Reads and verifies labels — the robot rotates the tube in front of the camera to detect and read labels regardless of their orientation on the tube.
- Catches missing caps and empty positions
- Reads labels from any orientation on the tube
- Stops errors before they propagate downstream

Barcode & Label Reading
Reads barcodes and label text on tubes, vials, plates, and other containers. The robot rotates the sample in front of the camera to capture the barcode regardless of its position. All read data is logged for sample tracking and chain of custody — integrates with LIMS or stored locally for regulatory purposes.
- 1D and 2D barcode support
- Robot rotates sample for full coverage
- LIMS integration and local audit trail

Instrument Reading via OCR
Reads measurement values directly from instrument displays — balances, pH meters, and other lab devices — using OCR to interpret the data. No API integration required, no additional cabling. A practical solution for capturing data from instruments that don't support digital output, or where integration complexity isn't justified.
- Balances, pH meters, and any display
- No API, no cabling — just point and read
- Works with legacy instruments as-is

Local Processing & Data Tracking
All AI inference and vision processing runs locally on the edge-mounted vision processor — no cloud dependency, no latency, no data leaving your facility. Results, images, and measurement data are stored locally and available for export, LIMS integration, or regulatory audit trails.
- 100% local — no cloud, no data leaves your facility
- Images and results stored for audit trails
- Export to LIMS or regulatory systems
