Automates tube and vial mixing within your Dorna workflow. Built around the IKA VORTEX 4 digital, which mounts directly on the fixture plate, the robot picks each tube or vial, places it on the vortexer, waits for the mixing cycle to complete, then retrieves it and continues the workflow — all without interruption.
Automated Mixing in the Workflow
The robot places the tube or vial onto the vortexer attachment and releases it. Dorna Workspace triggers the mixing cycle at the pre-configured speed and duration — then retrieves the sample when complete. No manual intervention required. Mixing steps can be inserted at any point in the workflow — after pipetting, before inspection, between transfers — and chained seamlessly with other modules.

Every Tube Your Lab Uses
The IKA VORTEX 4 digital handles tubes and vials up to 30mm in diameter with interchangeable attachments — covering microtubes, Eppendorf tubes, Falcon tubes, blood collection tubes, cryogenic vials, and more. Speed is infinitely adjustable from 1000 to 2800 rpm to match the mixing requirements of each application.
