FAQs
Dorna 2S enjoys absolute encoders on all joints whereas Dorna 2 has incremental encoders on motors. It means Dorna 2S does not need homing process at the startup. Also, the absolute position of Dorna 2S is more accurate as the flex in joints is measured by the encoders and compensated for by the controller. Furthermore, the Dorna 2S has more powerful motors on all joints, and a more rigid body, and larger bearings which makes it capable of handling larger payloads at faster speeds. Also, the Dorna 2S cable connects to the robot via a connector whereas in Dorna 2 the cable is connected to the robot. It makes the Dorna 2S more portable. Finally, Dorna 2S has four IO pins and two air ports available at the robot's second arm. These connections make the wiring of a tool head to the robot much cleaner and simpler.
Yes. The robots are in stock. We do the last stage of assembly and testing of the robots upon receiving the order. Depending on the number of robots in our order queue, we usually ship within one week of receiving the order.
