Pipettor
Air-displacement pipettor that mounts directly on the Dorna TA — turning the arm itself into a 6-axis liquid handler. Sub-microliter accuracy across tubes, vials, plates, and reservoirs, with no fixed deck and a 65 mm probe for deep access into containers.
Pipetting range 5 – 1000 µL. Compatible with standard disposable tips from any major manufacturer.

Pipette as a Robot End Effector
Traditional pipetting workstations are fixed — the deck layout is rigid and reconfiguration is complex. Dorna’s approach is different. The pipette mounts directly on the robot arm, giving it the full spatial freedom of a 6-axis system. The robot moves the pipette to any position on the fixture plate — between tube racks, microplates, reservoirs, and other modules — within the same workflow. No separate liquid handling deck required. The probe length of up to 65 mm enables deep access into tubes and vials.

Automatic Tip Management
Tip racks mount on the fixture plate in fixed, known positions. The robot picks a fresh tip automatically at the start of each pipetting cycle — no manual loading between cycles. After dispensing, the tip is ejected into a dedicated waste tray. The entire tip lifecycle is automated and tracked within the workflow. Compatible with standard tips in 10 µL, 50 µL, 200 µL, and 1000 µL formats from most major tip manufacturers — Eppendorf, Rainin, Sartorius, Thermo Fisher, Axygen, and others.
