Suction Gripper

A versatile vacuum gripper for the Dorna TA. Picks up tubes, caps, plate lids, vial tops, and other small flat or near-flat labware — and the same gripper actuates instrument doors during a workflow, replacing a separate door tool.

Each cup is mounted on a spring-loaded shaft that absorbs height variation between picks, so racks that aren’t perfectly level or lids that sit at slightly different heights still seal cleanly. Cup material and diameter are configurable per application — soft silicone for delicate surfaces, firmer compounds for heavier loads, larger cups for flat panels and doors.
